Want to work successfully in the complex legal framework of Europe? The LLM European Law gives you specialised legal training focused on the dynamic relationships between local, national and EU law.
If you want to work as an attorney, legal consultant, judge or policy-maker in the EU, how will you manage within the complex European legal framework - a framework in which the laws of individual states are in dynamic relationship to EU law?
The LLM European Law is designed to give you a deep understanding of these relationships through its comparative and contextual approach. This one-year programme focuses on such issues as public law, criminal law, competition law, and various judicial systems of EU member countries, studied in a European context. You develop a broad foundational knowledge of the structure and principles of EU law, while you pursue your own individual research interests. With a select group of international students, you study under acclaimed academics, and get to grips with the practical application of EU law through expert lectures, and trips to European institutions, law firms and other organisations.
