Information Studies
This Master's programme trains you to translate the needs of organisations and their clients into innovative combinations of information systems and organisational measures.
Business Information Systems is an interdisciplinary field of study at the cutting edge between Social Sciences, Business Studies and ICT. But the main emphasis is on business and information rather than on systems. We will teach you about the management of information, knowledge and other values in organisations. We will show you how to redesign organisations and their information systems at the same time.
You combine an interest in social sciences such as Business Studies and Sociology with an interest in ICT and are prepared to familiarise yourself with social science research methods. This prepares you for your own research and writing your final thesis.
